my sculpture:
sculpture is of the young boy. thought from first night. me looking at the sculpture as if i am an old woman. running through a field. face of a shark. my shark mask . all the thoughts written and painted on the body directly. the thoughts we carry all day. they are built into us. can never escape from shouts. can't escape your own mind. egg cup. guinnea pig.
process:
drawing my thoughts i had in the dark onto the little boy whilst being in the dark.black pen and acrylic paint.
becoming a performance
idea of making my sculpture a performance. interested in performance art.always wanting to make my own performer. making performers and performing with them. as a collection of people and life forms. a collection of people woking together. weather they are alive or mot. making performers. making whole cast of performers. like puppets. creating personalities that no one will ever know about. all performers have personality built on what the audience decide. the meaning or personality of a piece will never be spelt out. only named and people make the decision for themselves. who the like and who they don't like. exterior judgement. piece being bout how people perceve different things is own way.
every-time i do a crate people make up meanings to my picece that i never imagined my piece would be understood as. people red things very differently. interested why people think different things.

innitial thinking:
collage today . pictures from my auntie disgusting . really funny. character and emotion. gritty. cut them and pasted them together. fast. enjoyed it. collecting photos from my auntie. every photo has a story. rave photos. drawing the photos. seeing them in another visual way other that photos. giving different faces. creating characters. adding serial faces. colour. black and white. black and white is harder to understand visually.
both my hands drawings. onto some post it notes. photocopied onto the body of a human. head . acrylic paint and ink . texture. layer. collaging . pace. fast and energetic.

developing and finishing my sculpture:
thinking about traveling with the piece. how to transport it. walking home with the piece. other peoples reaction. when the piece is static. thinking about moving the piece around the exhibition. portable artwork. how to make it compact. making art that your could set up and exhibit it for an hour and then move somewhere else.
forgotten times. when art is beautiful. taking it to the place, when it would be in a truck. in a box. use that time to create an exhibition. lost time. the time in a day where we think but we don't realise we are thinking .the lost parts of the day. the lost parts of the moment. when thinks are not happening. more things start to happen. forgotten times. pointless space. no consideration times.
my finished piece:
man on the trolly that you can pull along. tied on with scarves. shark mask on the face whilst being transported. little bag on the back with the sign and rat. hammer.nails. blue tack. ribbon to hang.
if you wanted to put up this piece anywhere it would be completely possible. this idea is a really exciting idea to me and i would love to develop it more. and to think of more exciting ways to make it really compact and easy to move around.

initial process ideas: painting in the dark. painting on the dark. painting on a place that doesn't exist. painting in space. not knowing the space. where is the space. space and place in the dark is scary. uncomfortable. unsettling. frightening. things move when i am trying to sleep . seeing molecules.

Going back to original story, thinking more about what to create. knowing what I want to make and how to make it. What to make it out of. How to make it out of what. photocopying and thoughts on a new prosess.(posative):
using the printers and photocopiers. paintings and collages i wanted to see and seeing my thoughts. no direction and covering and taking away and adding. looked very finished and effective quickly. Some of my work were were less successful because was photocopying photocopies. also bit broken, exciting effect. reminded me of old looking posters . bad posters. commercial

my project ideas factory walk around:
fun lady with tennis ball boobs. cardboard, acrylic paint, tights, staples and tennis balls. covered it in a layer of polymer varnish , giving it a high gloss latex, rubber , tight fitted , saucy , PVC look.
the size of the Gingerbread man in Shrek 2 (thats really big).
floating on a pool of water. it didn't float. got well wet . took a weekend to dry out. it doesn't always work. gloss. wet
big half eaten cucumber. it represents water and can also be a bit kinky.
